The YAS-62II professional model alto saxophone and the YTS-62II professional tenor saxophone replace the YAS-62 and YTS-62, respectively. Both models come with the popular G1 neck, which is very open and free blowing. Annealing used in the manufacturing process gives the horns quick response, and updated pads with a silicon treatment make them more durable. The saxophones also include a lightweight case with a carrying strap."For many players, the 62 is the instrument that put Yamaha saxophones on the map," says Kurt Witt, Wind Instrument product manager.
